    Bookmark & Field Formatting (Word2000/SP3)

This one has got me confused...
I'm creating a form that uses a bookmarked Text Form Field on page one for data entry (the info will be used as a title line). The data is entered on page one in a field with the font set to Arial-10pt, Style=Normal, Bold=off. Page two recalls the bookmarked data on a "presentation" page. The recall location on page two is a "REF (bookmark) * MERGEFORMAT" Field set for Arial-18pt, Style=Normal, Bold=on, but only the first word (any length) comes out as desired-the rest of the words are as formatted on page one.
Which leaves me with the question: What about the MergeFormat switch tells it to only apply to the first word in the field??? And how do I tell it "apply to the entire field"???

Try *CharFormat instead of * MergeFormat. According to the online help, CharFormat "applies the formatting of the first letter of the field type to the entire result."

    Thanks Hans!
That worked. I don't even care why mergeformat only applied to the first word... <img src=/S/bananas.gif border=0 alt=bananas width=33 height=35>
