lost icons and programs (WinXP (SP2))

During one of my "learning moments", I was somewhere where I probably shouldnt have been. But how else does one learn. Regardless, I have now lost the following from WinXP, the sound icon (sound works though(I have surround sound)), the calculator (replaced with MS Calc. Plus), and the games. I no longer have solitaire on anything else for that matter. No big deal because the computer is extremely stable and performs like I want it to. But I sure do miss solitaire and the other games...
    Thanks

You should be able to get the games back:
    Click Start | Control Panel
    Open Add/Remove Programs.
    Click on Add/Remove Windows Components.
    Select Accessories.
    Click Details...
    Select Entertainment.
    Click Details...
You can select which games are available.
If the check boxes are ticked while the games are not available, you could clear the check boxes, OK your way out, then repeat the process to tick the check boxes.
