    Power extension

    Hi,
I have a power supply that doesn't have enough power leads on it. After connecting to the mobo, I have power leads for two CD/DVD drives and 2 SATA drives.
Is it possible to get a double adapter type thing that connects to one of the power leads and makes a further power lead? If so, what are they called?
    Or is this bad practice?

Hopefully, your power supply has enough oomph to handle it, huh? Here's one sample: Power Y, 18awg at Cyberguys.com

Sorry 'bout that. I didn't look at your profile until after I posted; I don't have any knowledge of UK vendors, but I'm sure you'll find one...

    Hi Nigel

Yes, most UK computer stores supply the Molex power splitters, and in my experience, as long as your PSU is of reasonable quality, shouldn't cause you any problems. They usually cost about
