    Merging Dates (2000)

    Hi, Just wondering if it is possible on a merge field code like below to have the th or st after the dd section to indicate 1st 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc?: -

    @ "dddd dd' of' MMMM
    Best Regards,

    Luke

    You can do something like this:
    <pre>{ MERGEFIELD DateField @ "dddd 'the { MERGEFIELD DateField @ d * Ordinal } of' MMMM" }
    </pre>

    Don't type the field brackets { } yourself, press Ctrl+F9 to insert them.

    See macropod's <!post=Date Calculations in Word,249902>Date Calculations in Word<!/post> for more info about working with dates in Word.
