Try Edit | Paste Special... in PowerPoint, then select one of the picture options. You should be able to resize the resulting picture OK, without losing anything.

Same problem with the right-hand columns being cut off.

I am able to resize but the right-hand column remains off-limits no matter how far I extend the object.

Does the attached presentation look OK to you? (I created it in PowerPoint 2002)

It seems OK but I need to be able to correct the problem in PP 2000. Company standard. . .

Maybe it will still work in 2000. How did you do it?

I selected the range in Excel, then copied it to the clipboard.
I activated PowerPoint, then selected Edit | Paste Special...
From the list of available formats, I selected Picture (Enhanced Metafile), then clicked OK.
Finally, I resized the pasted picture.

I'm only bring in through column P with your method. Attempting to edit the object then results in a message, "This is an imported picture, not a group. Do you want to convert it to a Microsoft Office drawing object?" That doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for. I'm beginning to believe it is a PP 2000-specific problem.

See Excel info cut off or cropped when pasted into PowerPoint on the PowerPoint FAQ site for more info and some suggestions. Basically, you'll have to reduce the size of the table in Excel.
