    Opening A Link (2000)

    To All,
This could be classified as an IE question/problem as well: Sometimes when I try and open an internet link (either from an Outlook message or sometimes via an IE shortcut/favorite) when I already have IE open to another site (and it is minimized), IE brings the already open site up instead of the new site, and, in the case of streaming video, terminates it. How do I set my default settings so that EVERYTIME I open a new website, Outlook (or, for that matter IE) will open the site in a new window?
    Thanks

Try making sure that the following is UNchecked: Control Panel|Internet Options|Advanced (the last tab)|Browsing - Resue windows when launching shortcuts. HTH
