    Aurora

Has anyone run into a piece of adware (spyware) called Aurora. It seems to initiate a whole lot of popups. I'm particularly interested in a removal tool if there is one available. I searched the Symantec site and Microsoft, but nothing abou Aurora came up.

Aurora Networks, an unfortunate victim of mistaken identity, has posted some information that might help get you started: Malicious Popups. (That was result #11 in Google for aurora adware, the first one that I actually visited.)

    Re: Aurora

Reading the suggested posting leaves me with a very uncomfortable feeling regarding the removal tool because the tool is published by the very people that created the problem software. What a mess!!

    Any, thanks for the tip.
