    Enabling Cookies (MSO 2003)

If I set a folder home page to my GMail, when I cclick it I always get an error that cookies must be enabled, and to click the link "below"...
which then always takes me to my mail...

How do I "enable" cookies so that I don't get this error each time?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

What is a folder home page? Is that like Outlook Today but in a specific folder? Windows XP SP2 changed the way that various IE settings operate in the "My Computer" zone, so you could be running into that. Perhaps Google has some help on this somewhere?

    Jefferson:

In 2003, if you right-click on a folder in the "All Mail Folders" pane (and in just a folder listing), on the Proerties page you'll see "Home Page" tab where you can list a url and select it to show when the folder's selected.

AAMOF, that's something I didn't even see till this board pointed me there en route to setting up folder shortcuts.

Anyway, if you set one of these up to go to your GMail, you get the cookies error...

I experimented with a few different sites. None gave an error, but one didn't load at all. If you haven't already, try Googling the exact error message (both Web and Groups) and see if anything turns up.
