    pick less then value (excel)

    I an trying to figur out how to pick the lesser value from two columns and print the value in column c.
    ex.
    column a = 1, column b = 2, so column c = 1 and so on.
    anyone out there who can remind me how to do this?

    You can use the MIN function

    <code>=MIN(A1:B1)</code>

    Thanks, I used =min(A1,C1) to select individual cells
