Attachments as Icons (2000)

Did a search for this topic in this forum, but didn't see exactly what I need....sorry if it's a repeat. Sometimes I get e-mails with attachments that look like embedded icons in the text and sometimes they are listed at the top under the subject line. When I print the e-mail, sometimes these icons will print, sometimes they don't.
Are there preferences I need to set, html? rtf?

It depends on the sender's settings, not yours. If the e-mail is sent in plain text or HTML format, the attachments are listed at the top, under the subject. If the e-mail is sent in RTF format, the attachments are displayed as icons in the body of the e-mail.

Addition: if you receive mail in HTML format, no indication of attachments is printed. This is a bug that was only solved in Outlook 2003 SP-1. See Attachment placeholder does not appear in printed HTML e-mail messages.

OOOOHHHHHH...I get it. Now why when I print, my printed copy does not list or show any reference to attchments? I'm using Outlook 2000 (on one workstation only).
