Out of Office Assistant (2000 SR-1)

I have a user that turned on out of office and entered the reply she wanted to be sent, but Outlook is not sending out of office msgs to anyone that sends her a note. Any thoughts?

By default, the Out of Office message only gets sent to users on the same Exchange server, not to people who send mail via Internet. The Exchange administrator can change this, if desired. see XCON: How to Enable Out-of-Office Replies to the Internet.

If this also happens if someone on the same Exchange server sends her a message, we'll have to look further.

I should have put that in my original post. I did check that. I tested with another user that has the same version and she is getting msgs from people both on her server and from those who are not. I guess my next option would be to try the repair tool?

It won't hurt. Let us know the outcome.

Unfortunately she left early to go on vacation; so I'll have to wait until she gets back. Will advise.
