    Remote Access of Calender, etc.

Can anyone point me towards instruction on how to set up a user so that they can access their calender, task list, etc remotely? We're using Outlook 2000 w/ Exchange 5.5. Thanks!!

The user needs to set up their Outlook profile for Offline Working.
I've attached an extract of a document which we use for new starters. This should do the trick.
It's based on Outlook 98 so the methods of working can be improved for Outlook 2000 (haven't got round to updating the text yet) but this technique still works.
OL2000 supports Quick Synchronisation which makes the Select Folder | Tools | Synchronise this folder sequence a bit smarter, but these principles documented in the summary para still apply!
    Hope this helps

I thought I'd toss in the possibility of Outlook Web Access (OWA). Brian's information is certainly on the mark. But it never hurts to consider options. We put in OWA last fall and it's been a big hit because users can access their mail and calendar from an internet connection anywhere in the world. They don't even need Outlook on their end.
