Moving downloaded messages back to the server? (OE 6)

Is there any way to upload messages back on to the server after they've been downloaded into OE?

I was encouraging my girlfriend to try using OE for an email client rather than just accessing her messages on the server. Unfortunately, she tried it out and downloaded all her messages before setting the option to leave messages on the server. Now she's got several hundred messages in OE (which she's not even sure she wants to use) and all the messages are gone from the server. If anyone has any suggestions for how to re-upload them I'll be very grateful. I realize that she could simply forward them all to herself but the drawback of this of course is that the Date and From fields will not be accurate. I'm basically trying to help her get back to the point she was at before she tried out OE.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    regards,
    Abe

Well Abe, Unless the ISP has some special arrangements like that ( which I doubt ) I'm afraid you are out of luck.
    Totally !

If the ISP supports IMAP access to that mailbox, you might be able to push the messages onto the server that way. I haven't tried this myself, but when I was working with the Anti-Spam product SAProxy, it was one of the suggested techniques for moving Outlook/Outlook Express mail to a standard format to "train" the Bayesian filter.
