    chart updates (2000)

Hello, is ther some routine I can put onto a chart wherby the oldest month's data drops from the chart as and when I add new data, ie. if my chart shows detail for Jan Feb Mar, I would like a routine for Jan to drop off when Apr is added and this to continue so just three months show on my chart.

    Thanks Darren.

    Hi Darren

You can use dynamic range names. For a tutorial on this see Dynamic Charting Formulas in Excel

See Chart the Last 12 Months Dynamically on Jon Peltier's website. The example is for charting 12 months, but you only need to change the value of one cell to make it work with 3 months.
