    Secure Snapshots (2000)

Is it possible to encrypt/password protect snapshot reports? I have been asked to email confidential customer data, in an easily printed format (i.e. not a spreadsheet, if possible) to a number of a company

Access itself does not provide a way to encrypt a snapshot.

If you use Outlook as your mail program, you have several options:
You can get a digital certificate, and use this to sign and encrypt mail messages, seee OL2000: Encryption and Message Security Overview.
Another option is the new WinZip Companion for Outlook. It can automatically zip and encrypt e-mail attachments. It's not free, but you can download a free evaluation copy (valid for 45 days).
More options can be found at Encryption and Other Message Security Tools for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange on the Slipstick site.

Since posting the question I have been told by the company's network man that all the email communication with their stores is encrypted anyway, so I may not have to bother. Thanks for the tip about the WinZip product though, that could be useful in other situations.
