    Autofilter Limitations (2000)

I have a spreadsheet with over 1500 rows of data. In autofilter mode the drop down list appears to be restricted to 1000 entries.
Is this correct and if so is there any way around it?
My problem is that if I want to filter beyond the 1000th item I am unable to do so.

    Thanks
    Garry

The 1000 unique items limit is "hard", you cannot extend it. You can select Custom... however, and look for whatever you want.

This is a limit - Not all list items are displayed in the AutoFilter list in Excel

I do not know of any way around it.

    Thanks guys
That's what I thought but wanted to have it confirmed by the experts.
