    DatePicker missing dll (Access XP)

I have a database from a new Client. When I try to run acertain form it fails. Upon further investigation I have found a control that has the Source as MSComCtl2.DatePicker.

On doing a search on my machine I cannot find this dll, has anybody any ideas as to where I may find it.

The Date/Time Picker and related controls do not come with Office Pro. You can download the necessary file from Microsoft: OFFXPDEV: MSCOMCT2.OCX Is Not Included with Microsoft Office XP Developer.

Good morning Hans, it is working now after extracting the required file from the cab file.

    Thank you.

Re: DatePicker missing dll (Access XP)

Hi Hans / Pat, i'm having the exact same problem....can't get the date/time picker control to function (ie. select a date then have that date appear/change in a text box on the same form). I can get it to work using the "on lost focus" event, but this creates an extra click off the control. why doesn't the "on updated" event work? Pat, where did u put the MScomct2.ocx file once you extracted it from the .cab file? thanks, Van
