    Rule Sequences (MSO 2003)

If I have rules (A,B, &C) and I messages (1,2, & 3), and all these rules are applied when the messages are received, do the rules work, one at a time, on all messages (A on 1, A on 2, A on 3) or do they work "by the message (A on 1, B on 1, C on 1...)?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

    Re: Rule Sequences (MSO 2003)

Rules work one message at a time when a message is received. They run sequentially in the order they appear in the rules and alerts window. Processing is stopped when the end of the rules is reached or when a rule with the command "stop processing more rules" is encountered. If you execute the "Run rules now" command, the selected rules will run in the order in which they appear in the rules and alerts window against each message in the selected folder.
