    Page View Colour (Word 2000)

This applies to all documents that I work with, so it's not just an anomaly in one particular one.
The page, whether in normal or print view mode has a blue background. When I copy this document from my notebook to my office machine, it goes back to being a white background, which is what I want.

    I've tried:
Page Setup: Borders & Shading: Shading: White & No Fill ( the No Fill is blue )

    I've tried:
Format: Borders & Shading: Shading: White & No Fill ( the No Fill is blue )

    I've tried:
Tools: Options: General: NO blue background

All with no success. I'd appreciate any suggestions,
    Cheers,
    Andy

What happens if you open Excel? Does the worksheet have a blue background too? If so, it is probably a Windows setting:
    - Right click an empty part of the Windows desktop.
    - Select Properties.
    - Activate the Appearance tab.
    - If you're using Windows XP, click Advanced.
    - Click inside the Window in the sample screen, or select Window from the dropdown list.
    - Select white as background color.
    - Click OK.

Also: does this occur in all views?
