    label print software

Can someone recommend a, preferably free, label print programme that allows me to import our product code and description, then format to suit small laser labels to be used for labelling our shelves. We run XP
Google turns up lots of hits so I am wondering which software loungers have actually used and can recommend.
    Many thanks <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16> <img src=/S/flags/NewZealand.gif border=0 alt=NewZealand width=30 height=18>

Not sure if this will do the job, but you could look at LazaLabl v2.7 Label/Card - 645.83 KB
    It's described as a "Simtel Legacy" program, so it's not really <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>ware, but there's nobody there at the counter to take your payment <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>.

    Re: label print software

If you have enough time to spare, why not try combining Word's MailMerge feature with Envelopes and Labels?

All (all!!) you have to do is to format what you've got into the way Word will accept!

The beauty of that is, once you have mastered this in Word (almost) every other package seems so easy! <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

    Thanks John, I had a quick look at Word, so now will have a more detailed look later in the week <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16> <img src=/S/flags/NewZealand.gif border=0 alt=NewZealand width=30 height=18>
