    Filtering Outlook Today (MSO 2003)

Is there a way to only show "open" tasks on the Outlook Today screen?

Mine is showing all the completed tasks as well...

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

In native Outlook you can only change the options that are available under "Customize Outlook Today".

For at least one past version of Outlook (maybe 2000), Microsoft released some documentation on how to further customize Outlook Today; a link to it can be found in past threads. However, it seemed very, very complicated to me so I never tried it.

Yea, if we're thinking of the same item, I had seen the one for modifying 2K and had used it, but most of that was built into 2003, so is now irrelevant.

Do you use Outlook Today? Is it showing all your completed tasks too?

If so, why'd they do that?

    Regards,
    Chuck

Outlook Today shows all the tasks that are in your default Tasks folder. If your move your completed Tasks into another folder (or sub-folder), then they will no longer appear in Outlook Today. Perhaps you could set up some VBA code to move completed task into a relevant alternative folder? HTH
