    Name those sheep

I don't envisage these ones giving much trouble.

    1. Farmer Alf refers to cattle as vobs, bears as srus, horses as uqes, & pigs as crops. What in the world does he call sheep?

    2. My name consists of 8 letters.

    A. My 6, 5, 8, 1 is a trick.
    B. My 1, 2, 3, 4 is a type of poem.
    C. My 4, 5, 6, 1 is a means of preserving
    Who am I?

    Re: Name those sheep

    Hi Jerry

Many Ancient Greek names and places have become Latinized over time with the assumption by many that these represent the original.
    Example - Epidaurus(Latin): Epidavros(Greek).

Thank you for that, I had a feeling it was latin but couldn't be bothered to dust off my Latin books which are holding up the wobbly leg on my PC table <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>
