    HTTPMail (OE5)

    does any one know of any free email providers that offer httpmail other then hotmail?

    You could try Gmail

    It can be run from your browser or you can enable POP access for Outlook Express. If you want to try Gmail send me a pm with your e-mail address and I will forward an invite to you.

    thanks for the offer. i already have a gmail account, but i was under the impression that i could only set it up using pop3 and that they do not support the HTTPMail protocol.

    i need to use OE but i can not use pop3, my organisation basically blocks everything except port 80.

    Take a look at this Google search. The first item seems to indicate that Lycos offers HTTPmail.
