    dates (2003)

    I have created a sheet for data input, one of the fields of which currently requires users to select a date from a given pre-entered list which I have linked to the date entry cell using data validation.

    Ideally I would like users to be able to select a date from a drop down calender. Is this possible?

    You can try this. I have attached a spreadsheet that has a calandar control to select dates. I have version 2000.

    Re: dates (2003)

    I have been successfully using the attached calendar for some time. However yesterday the calendar changed shape so that it now appears with the lines all squashed together.

    I have not knowingly changed any of the settings nor the coding of the associated macro. Can any body advise why this happened and how I can overcome the problem.

    I opened the un-amended downloaded source file for comparison and this still works perfectly.

    I attach a copy of my corrupted version for inspection and comment. the relevant cells are C9, C13 and D13 on the input sheet.

    Have you deleted some rows, perhaps?

    You can resize the calendar control in your code: insert

    Calendar1.Width = 216
    Calendar1.Height = 144

    just above the line

    Calendar1.Visible = True

    (Width and Height are measured in points, where 1 inch = 72 points.
