    Filter On (Access 2000)

I want to filter the products in my form frmProducts to show only those products whose field
called "size" is blank, that is to say, 0.
The format of the form is single form. When i look through the products, i should see only the filtered ones.
Also, products must be rearrannged in alphabetical order under the field ProductName.
How can i use the Filter On function ?

    Re: Filter On (Access 2000)

Blank (missing, null) is not the same as 0 (the number zero)

Create a query based on the products table and set the criteria for the Size field to Is Null if you want records for which the Size is blank, or to 0 if you want records for which the Size is 0.
Set the Sort order for the field ProductName to Ascending.
Use this query as record source for the form.

    I suppose a criteria of

    nz([Size],0)<1

(assuming size is integer) would catch both null & 0

You'd have to create a calculated column

    Nz([Size],0)

You could set the criteria to 0 instead of <1.
