    Re: PDF Format

There are several free PDF viewers. The "official" one from Adobe (see Adobe Reader Download - All versions) has an option to display PDF files within the browser (Edit | Preferences, Internet). I don't know if the alternatives have the same option.

I'm afraid I can't help you with that, but for others reading this thread it might be useful if you posted the version of Adobe Reader you're using and the version of Internet Explorer.

    Re: PDF Format

To check if the version of Reader supports the pdf you're trying to view, rather than trying to open it up in the browser, try saving it first. (Right click on the link in IE, choose 'save target as..')

If the downloaded file opens up ok in Reader, then you know it's a settings issue. If not, then you may need to update Reader.

Is the reader blocked by your Firewall from accessing the internet?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
