Tracking Training (Access 2000 or above)

    Folks,

I started this post in Software Finds & Wants, but since what I am really looking for is a database, someone suggested moving it here. I'm checking to see if anyone knows of a program that will help me track the training in my firm (who has had what training, when, etc.).

I'm looking for open source freeware, probably some sort of relational database. I have found a couple of things out there at SourceForge.net and a couple of other freeware sites, but the ones I found are web based, and I want something just to help me keep track of it, not an interactive program (i.e., where users sign up on the intranet, etc.). I can build a simple database for this, but thought before I started working on that I would see if anyone here knew of something already available.

    Thanks,
    Tia

    Tia,

I have an Access database one that you might be able to modify for your use. I need to make some changes to it before I can send it. I'll try to do that this weekend.

Great! <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16> Please don't do any heavy lifting for my benefit, though. My request was to make less work for me, not more work for someone else! <img src=/S/dizzy.gif border=0 alt=dizzy width=15 height=15>

Not a problem. We are gonna have the 3 h's here this weekend so I'll be in the AC looking to keep cool.

    Have a good weekend.

You might also find some useful ideas at Database Answers which <!profile=SteveH>SteveH<!/profile> came up with a while back.
