I have a number of rules set in my Outlook 2000 SR-1, primarily to delete mail from a variety of asian and offshore domains that regularly fill up my mailbox with junk. I don't know how I got on the asian lists and I can't even read that, but there it is.

The problem is that periodically one or more of these rules somehow gets unset and I get an error message saying I don't have permission to handle that message. If I bring up the rules wizard and recheck the rules, they handle sthe messages properly. There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern for this, except it always seems to be .tw, .jp, and .hinet.net addresses that get unchecked. This is on a standalone laptop with a dialup connection, so I'm not dealing with Exchange Server at all here.

Any ideas?
