    Hide Row Macro (Excel 2003)

    Hi,

I have been given a task of stocktaking a hotel and comparing the results to their internal stocktake.
The manager only wishes to see any variation between the 2 counts, I produce my figure on a spreadsheet & am given theirs which I copy onto my sheet and compare the 2.
I believe it may be possible to code a button onto the sheet so that when clicked, will hide all the rows where this variation = 0.
Have also been requested to have a means to unhide all rows as well.
Is this possible & can any of you assist with pointing me to where I may find out how to do this? (I know nothing about coding <img src=/S/confused3.gif border=0 alt=confused3 width=45 height=45> )

Have attached a spreadsheet which may give an idea of what I am attempting to achieve.
    TIA
    Neville

You don't need code to do this. If you provide consistent column headings, you can use Data | AutoFilter.
In the attached version, I have set the filter for the Variation column to (NonBlanks).
To see all rows, click the arrow in the Variation cell and select (All).
