'Accept' or 'Highlight' manual tracked changes (VBA/WordXP/SR3)

OK, I'm at wits end <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23>. I have a practice group which deals with Intellectual Property. Because of filing requirements they must do "track changes" manually and not using Word's feature. To do this, they simply strike through or double bracket text they are deleting and underline text they are adding. I tried modifying the code in Klaus' post in this thread with no luck. I even had one of our VBA programmers take a stab at it (I don't write a lot of code) and he can't get it to work right ...and of course now they want it yesterday! Can one of you kind people lend a hand?

    Thanks in advance.

Karen, which part isn't working?? (Can you export the macros to BAS files and zip those up, too?)

Re: 'Accept' or 'Highlight' manual tracked changes

Thanks Jefferson -- I'm attaching it as a txt file, it's small enough. With "CleanClaims" the issue is that sometimes (though not always) it leaves some of the underlined text underlined. HiliteClaims doesn't have that issue.

However, as you can see from both, they deal only with the main story -- I don't know how to create a story collection and have it run through each. That's where my in-house programmer was having issues.

    Thanks again for the assist!

Regarding the "all stories" code, in <post#=472200>post 472200</post#> HansV recommended this article: Replace Text Anywhere in a Document.

Regarding Selection.Find being a bit flaky, well...
