    SQL Question

I have a stored procedure that I would like to run by a schedule. Can anyone help me on how to do this. Do I have to make a package in the DTS? Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Nick

    Re: SQL Question

You'll want to look into SQL Jobs. You can schedule any desired SQL statement to execute at any desired times.

    Re: SQL Question

I am getting an error when the job runs. The error message is: The procedure entry pont ?SQLUIUpdateRegistryFromResource@@YAJHPAUHINSTNACE _@@IKPAPBG1@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLRESLD.dll. Any ideas on what the problem could be.
Plus I am trying to execute a stored procedure in another job and am having no luck. My syntax is this:
    DECLARE @proc_name varchar(30)
    SET @proc_name = 'import'
    EXEC @proc_name

    does this look correct?
    Thanks again,
    Nick
