    Reset to Default Printer (2000/SR2)

    I have a spreadsheet that is used by just about everyone in the company. (not my design, I would have done it in Access) We want to be able to print to a specific printer, so I have created a macro to do that. What I would like to also do in the macro is to reset back to the users default printer. Since everyone is using a different printer as a default, I'm not sure how to do that. I've searched the archives but did not find anything. Sure it's something simple, can anyone help? Thanks.

    You could use code like this:

    Dim strPrinter As String
    strPrinter = Application.ActivePrinter
    ActiveWorkbook.PrintOut ActivePrinter:="OtherPrinter"
    Application.ActivePrinter = strPrinter

    Thanks Hans, that worked perfectly.
