    Insert signature (Word 2003)

How can I insert a signature I created in Outlook 2003 into a Word document? (The signature has a graphic of my company's logo in png format.)

    Hi Jim,

Use Insert|Picture|From File to navigate to the folder where the graphic is stored, select the graphic and press 'Insert'.

    Re: Insert signature (Word 2003)

I don't have a problem inserting a graphic. I want to insert the signature, which contains the graphic, in a Word document. If I use Insert>Picture>From File and select the signature (an htm file) that was created in Outlook 2003, I get a dialog box that asks to convert the file to about 10 different file formats. I use Word as my email editor so I don't understand what is happening.
PS, the lounge will not let me attach an htm file.

That's a good thing. It lets you tell Word what you want it to interpret the file. However, try regular Insert>File instead of Insert>Picture and you should get better results. After all, an HTML file is not a picture.

Thanks, of course that works and I feel a bit stupid. I don't think I have ever used Insert File in Word and it was thus hidden in the Insert menu list (Break, Page Number, Reference, Picture) the choices I use all the time were displayed. I never thought to open up the list.

I'm with the crowd that believes one of the first things you do in setting up Office is to tick the box for "always show full menus." <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> This is one of the many gotchas in trying to give "blind" support for Office...
