You can not create more columns. It is a limit of Excel.

Re: expanding worksheet size (excel 2000)

In all versions up to and including the most recent one (Excel 2003), an Excel worksheet has had 256 columns, named A through IV. This is hard-coded, there is no way to increase the number of columns.

(Type specifications in the Answer Wizard in the online help for more info)

Is there a way to link worksheets, I figure I ll have to add the rest of my data to sheet2, So if I scroll to the end of the worksheet IV, then automatically I move into sheet2?

You'd better rethink the design of your data to make use of the 65,536 rows available in a worksheet.

An Access table can have up to 255 columns (fields) - 1 less than the number of columns in an Excel worksheet.

You can import data from only one worksheet at a time into Access.
