    no minimise, maximise buttons (2000)

I have a file that when opened has no minimise or maximse buttons. The mouse does not change shape on the borders of the window, the window can not be moved. The file appears almost as a dialog box. There is no code behind the spreadsheet.

If any one knows what has happened here I would be delighted to find out.

    Many thanks

    Amanda

Could you make a copy of the workbook, delete its contents, and attach the copy to a reply (zip it if it's over 100 KB)? Thank you.

You need to unprotect the workbook.

    Select "Tools>Protection>Unprotect Workbook"
You will need to know the password used to protect the workbook

When it was protected the option to protect windows was selected, this removed the minimise & maximise buttons.
