    XP Media Player 10 (V 10)

I don't see a forum for Media Player so will post here. I have XP SP2 with MP 10. I want to record cassettes to my harddrive and then to CD. There must be a way, but I can't find it. I can get sound to my speakers from my tape player but don't know how to get it to record sound. I also have RealPlayer and ITunes but I can't get them to work either. I appreciate any advice.

See <!post=this thread,485357>this thread<!/post> from two months ago, you'll find several suggestions. <post#=441991>post 441991</post#> is another one.

Hans, thanks for the direction to some good ideas for recording cassettes to CDs. I download Audacity and the Lame decoder. Now to actually sit down and do the work.
    Thanks
