    Hi Marty

You can create a rule in OE that sort of simulates the 'Out of Office' functionality. If you go to Tools>Message Rules>Mail...

    Then create a rule that
    1. for all messages,
    2. reply with message,
    3. type in your message
    4. name the rule (eg OutofOffice)

Then switch this rule on whenever you aren't there and it should work.

    HTH

PS Thanks for asking- life in Sherwood Forest is good (very green...!), and would've been better if not for the events of yesterday in London <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15>

    Lyra,

Thanks for the suggestion, I have used the suggested method a little lengthy but it works....just realized my ISP now supports regular Outlook for e-mail...becomes a moot point. Keep a stiff upper lip, my condolences to your fellow citizens!!!
