    Missing links (Excel 2000)

I have a worksheet in which I had some links to a workseet in another file, but even though I have deleted them all (as far as I can tell, as I can't find any now) when I open the first sheet it still tells me I have links to the second one and asks me whether I want to update them. How can I ensure that all links have been removed to stop this?

First see if you can find out what links there are in Edit | Links... If that doesn't help, you can download Bill Manville's free FindLink utility from The Excel MVP Page. You can use this to trace all links, and break them if you want to.

The add-in did the trick; thanks again, Hans.
