Change Owner Name (Win XP HOME)

How does one change the "owner name" of a DELL system using Win XP Home. I am not talking about the User Account - rather I am talking about the Owner Name. A fellow gave his system to a friend and everytime he installs a new program, the original owner's name comes up.

Thanks all - I found directions to go into the Registry and change the name of the Registered Owner.

Re: Change Owner Name (Win XP HOME)

Thanks for the info, but found a simpler solution: X-Setup (tweak program)/System/User Data/Windows User Data and change to whatever you want....saves playing around with the registry and seems to work...Thanks for the prompt response....
