    Date filter (Access 2000)

    Can i open another form and filter the date?
    For example,if i have a date in the first form, can i open another form for the same date and filter the form with this date? For example, i have a date 01.02.2005 in the form Form1. I want to open the form Form2, which contains also a date field.Is it possible to filter the results and show all the records for 01.02.2005?

    Yes, by using the WhereCondition argument of DoCmd.OpenForm:

    DoCmd.OpenForm FormName:="frmOtherForm", WhereCondition:="[DateField] = #" & Format(Me.DateField, "mm/dd/yyyy") & "#"

    where frmOtherForm is the name of the form to be opened, and DateField is the name of the date field (could be different for each form)
