    If you want to turn off the filter, use

    Me.FilterOn = False

    or

    DoCmd.ShowAllRecords

    How would you use VBA code to set a form to Add mode via a command, then to show all records via another button?

    You'd set the DataEntry property of the form to True to allow only new records, and to False to make it display existing records. You could use a command button or toggle button to switch between the two:

    Private Sub cmdAddMode_Click()
    Me.DataEntry = Not Me.DataEntry
    End Sub

    Thanks Hans, I thought it had something to do with the DataEntry property.
