    Formula Evaluator (2000)

(Edited by HansV to make URL clickable - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

This web page: http://exceltips.Vitalnews.com/T1076 describes a feature I don't seem to be able to pull up. Is it an add-in maybe?
    Thanks.

    Re: Formula Evaluator (2000)

As far as I know, Formula Evaluation was introduced in Excel 2002 (in Office XP), in other words, it's not available in Excel 2000.

As an alternative, you can edit a formula (either in the formula bar or directly in the cell itself), select a part of the formula and press F9 to evaluate the selected part. Don't press Enter, for that will save the formula with evaluated parts, press Esc to restore the original formula. (If you press Enter by accident, you can still use Undo to restore the formula)
