Find a record in a report (2002)

Is it possible to display a specific record in a report without filtering out all the other records? In other words, I'd like to display a particular record (based on user input in a form) but for the user to still be able to scroll through all the other records.

I know it's possible to do this with forms, using FindRecord, but there is no FindRecord equivalent for reports. Or is there ?!

If at first you do succeed, you've probably missed something.

A report is not interactive in the way a form is. There is no way to do what you want in Access. As an alternative, you could export the report to Excel or Word, and search there.

Thanks, , feared that was the case.
Now that's what I call a speedy response!

Hi

Here is one way you can highlight a single field in a report via a form. Not sure whether it is fit for your purpose but it might give you some ideas. Otherwise it is as Hans stated.
