    Current folder (Outlook 03 VBA)

Our secretaries have delegated rights to Outlook Contacts (not the entire mailbox) for the attorneys they would for. Our default is to display only the Peronsal Contacts folder which is delegated. There are likely sub-folders of Contacts type under the Personal Contacts folder. Assuming that rights to the sub-folder(s) have been properly delegated, how can I display the names to the secretary so she can select which one she would like to display?

I have been successful with VBA code to cycle through the folders collection and display names of folders of Contacts type. But I seem to be cycling through the top level. I want to view the folders Collection of the CURRENT folder. How do I determine the name (and type) of the current folder?

    Thanks very much.

Re: Current folder (Outlook 03 VBA)

    The current folder is ActiveExplorer.CurrentFolder.
    Its name is ActiveExplorer.CurrentFolder.Name.
    Its default contents is ActiveExplorer.CurrentFolder.DefaultItemType. This is a number, e.g. olMailItem = 0, olAppointmentItem =1 and olContactItem = 2.
Its subfolders are in the ActiveExplorer.CurrentFolder.Folders collection.
