    Signatures from Adobe (2003)

I never noticed before but it seems that is you have a signature set to automatically be inserted in all e-mails, if you launch an e-mail from within Adobe Acrobat 6.0, it does not insert the signature. Is this normal behavior and can it be fixed. Thanks.

    Re: Signatures from Adobe (2003)

There are two ways to create a new Outlook message. One is to use the MAPI library to generate the message, and the other is to automate the Outlook application. Most programs use the MAPI library because it works for (almost) any mail client, but it does offer less functionality than automating Outlook. If you compare Adobe's implementation with, say, a mailto link in a web page or IE's File>Send Page option, do either of them pick up the signature?

If you use 'File | Send to | Email recipient as attachment' in MS apps (at least, in Word, Excel or Access), you'll find that the sig is not automatically inserted from them either. You can always click the sig Icon and manually insert.
