    Duplicating Previous Data (A2K)

I hate it when I know I've seen some clever code while looking for something else and then can't find it when I need it. Somewhere out there in the Forum was some code that would bring forward previous data into a new record when the record was being created.

Very specifically, it would be similar to this:

    Last record created:

    Date: June 1st
    Vendor: Acme Screw & Gear
    Qty: 12
    Cost: $10

When the user returns to enter a new record on the next occasion, he would like his new record to look like the last record he entered, but only 2 of the fields:

    Date:
    Vendor: Acme Screw & Gear
    Qty:
    Cost: $10

He would then put in the day's date and the quantity and he' be a happy camper.

Like I mentioned earlier, I'm positive I've seen this, but can't seem to put together the correct verbiage to search it out.

Would appreciate any help on this,
    Cheers,
    Andy

Thanks Pat, I'll jump into this today. Populate would have been the key word to use.
    Cheers,
    Andy
