Join SQL Server and MDB tables in ASP ADO query?

We have an MS Access report that currently uses one local table and a huge join from SQL Server. Is there any way to do the join directly in ADO from an ASP page, or would I still need to do the join using the Jet provider, and setting up my MDB to linking to the relevant SQL Server tables?

Re: Join SQL Server and MDB tables in ASP ADO query?

    Hi Jefferson,

I'm not familiar with any way to join data inside an ADO object. You can definitely do this using the ADO.NET Dataset object, but not with "Classic" ADO (to my knowledge).

I think you're on the right track - linking the SQL table to the MDB, then creating an Access query that joins the two in Access.

    Hope this helps.
