    Printing Pop Up (windows xp)

Since installing service pack 2 we are getting a balloon popping up whenever we print at the bottom right of the screen.

    Can it be disabled please?

If you are talking about description pop ups, go to Control Panel>Folder Options> View and UN check show description pop ups box.

Instead of editing the registry, you can get rid of these print balloon tips by
    <UL><LI>Start> Printers and Faxes
<LI>From the File menu choose Server Properties
<LI>On the Advanced tab clear the check boxes for "Show informational notifications for Local Printers" and "...Remote Printers"[/list]StuartR
