    Back-up procedure (WinXP Of 2003)

While "messing around" in Access I encountered a command, NTBACKUP. It could be very helpful, but I can't find how to save the names of the selected files so that I don't have to select them when I run the backup again. It isn't logical to have to rebuild the backup every time that I want to run it. Although I found the command in Access, I understand that it is a Windows NT/2000/XP Pro/2003 application. Any ideas?

If you go into a Command Prompt window (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt) and type NTBACKUP /? you get a couple of windows, one of which is a "command line reference", which has oodles of stuff about parameters, which might assist.

Since I've never used the XP backup facilities, I took a curious look and I saw a statement that says one can't restore files from the command line. So I guess one would be forced to use the GUI version of Backup or ( <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> ) a third-party program.
