    VBA Excel Access (2003)

Is there a way to call a function that is in an Excel add in from Access and use it in Access? The function is locked that I cannot copy it (from a freeware site), but i need that functionality in Access.
    Thanks

Unless the add-in provides a VBA interface, you'll have to start Excel through Automation, create a formula in a worksheet cell that calls the function from the add-in, and retrieve the result of the formula.

Thanks. The Add in translates Numbers to Words but in Hebrew. I adapted something from English, but Hebrew the numbers have Gender and they switch back and forth from male to female from tens to hundreds etc. It also translates from Civil dates to Hebrew calendar. There is a Windows API that I think does this, but I could not find info about it to do it.
I thought about the automation, but it sosunded like too much overhead for sosmething so small.
If anyone knows anything like this, it would be great.
    Thanks Hans
